Introducing our newest seasonal items to our Studio Collection - handblown Snails!
With Summer around the corner, we wanted to make something fun and different than what you normally see in the studio!
These snails have a calming presence and a unique charm. They feature a cute and colorful curled shell, and adorable eyestalks. These colorful Snails will make a great addition to any glass collection.
Did you know: The entire underside of the snail is a powerful muscle. They move by creating tiny ripples or "waves" of contraction and relaxation. As the snail crawls, it produces mucus (slime) from specialized glands in its foot. This slime acts as a lubricant to reduce friction and protects the snail's skin from rough surfaces. It also acts as a mild glue, allowing the snail to climb vertical walls or even crawl upside down!
