COVID-19 Update

We are currently open for our normal business hours with limited capacity. We are requiring per NC State Law that all visitors wear a face mask and follow social distancing guidelines while in our business. We are currently not

 

When can we come in to see glass blowing?

Lexington Glassworks is a working studio; the glass blowers work seven days a week creating high-quality hand-blown glass. The public is invited to watch the artists at work.

 

Are you kid friendly?

Yes, but children must be accompanied by a credit card at all times. Please keep in mind that we are a glass gallery, no running, jumping, yelling, screaming, cartwheels, handstands, tag, pushing, or spinning as all pieces are fragile and must be handled with care. Parents will be responsible for any damages.

 

Are you dog friendly?

Yes, all well-behaved four-legged friends are welcome. 

 

Do you do Group Demonstrations?

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently offering Group Demonstrations. 

Lexington Glassworks offers live glassblowing demonstrations on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. We are happy to accommodate school groups, motor coach tours, and visitors of all kinds. We require that groups larger than 10 people schedule a demonstration in order to ensure that your visit to the Lexington Glassworks is informative and enjoyable. Demonstrations are typically 30 minutes in length and there is a nominal fee. Please contact the office for inquiries.

 

What is your shipping policy?

Lexington Glassworks ships on Tuesdays. If your order is in stock it will ship out from our gallery on the Tuesday following your purchase date. All orders received on Monday or Tuesday will not ship the next day, but the following Tuesday. If the item that you ordered is not in stock please allow 2-4 weeks for us to make the piece and ship it to you. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Per FedEx requirements a Direct Signature is required on all packages valued at $500 or more. Please open and inspected all shipped orders within 30 days of arrival. 

Online Lighting Orders

Please allow 4-6 weeks for all online lighting orders. Hardware is not included. Lamp shade only. All sales are final, an exchange or store credit will be issued for returned items.

Custom Orders

Please allow up to 12 weeks for your custom order to be ready. This does not include shipping time. Please open and inspect the contents of your shipment within 30 days.

What is your exchange & return policy?

All sales are final. However, do accept exchanges for items of equal or greater value within 60 days of purchase. We are not responsible for the cost of shipping on returns or exchanges. All returned items must be in salable condition. Customers are responsible for packing all returned glass according to FED EX, UPS or USPS shipping guidelines. Lexington Glassworks is not responsible for any broken or damaged glass shipped by the customer.

Custom Lighting Orders

We want you to be pleased with your choices. Lighting fixtures are made to order and may not be returned. Art glass pieces and shades can be exchanged once within a 90 day period or returned for store credit. All returned items must be in salable condition. Contact our gallery for more details.

What happens if my glass is damaged in shipping? 

For claims purposes all shipped boxes must be opened and inspected within 30 days of arrival. Any damaged pieces will be replaced if within the 30 day, if outside that 30 days items will not be replaced or refunded.
