LAST CHANCE to Purchase our Valentine's Day Collaborative Vase!
Lexington Glassworks + Revery Paper Flora Collaborate
In honor of Valentine's Day, we teamed up with botanical artist, Emily Paluska, to create a handcrafted Flowering Dogwood branch. When looking for inspiration, we immediately thought of North Carolina native plants and botanicals and finally landed on the North Carolina state flower, the Flowering Dogwood.
The *new* Som Bud Vase is the perfect adaptation of our Speckled Bud Vase with a fresh, soft color palate combined with a modern form. This dynamic duo is a true work of art!
Who's behind Revery Paper Flora?
Emily Paluska is a Korean American botanical artist based in Washington DC. She started making flowers as a way to cope with postpartum depression -- making one flower a day for a year, falling more in love with paper flower-making as the days passed. She is passionate about showing others how they too can use art as a way to connect and heal. Emily has taught hundreds of students how to make their own paper flowers. She has worked with the National Gallery of Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, HGTV Mag, Veranda, as well as many other companies and organizations. You can most likely find her under a pile of paper in her Capitol Hill studio painting flower petals late into the night.
